Which innovative ideas do young designers come up with to create intelligent materials? Which changes will we see in the field of lightweight construction and composite materials? These topics are dealt with in the material TRENDS award 2010, organized by iF for the first time. Students and recent graduates from the disciplines of design, architecture and interior design are invited to submit their creative ideas.

Open for registration until 26 January 2010.

All entries will be presented in a special show titeled "material TRENDS exhibition" during the HANNOVER MESSE trade fair in April 2010. An expert jury will select the award winners in February 2010. The three best entries to both "composite materials" and "lightweight construction" will share a total money of EUR 5,000.00.
