Since 2004, the lebens(t)räume (dreams for life) competition has been hosted by Vincentz Network and organized in cooperation with "universal design GmbH" and "organized by iF". The goal of this competition is to inspire young people to design for the older generations and for people with disabilities.

In 2010, Vincentz Network will hold the lebens(t)räume competition for the seventh time. This competition addresses students from the areas of design, marketing, engineering, architecture and interior design as well as young designers. This year's themes are "ambient assisted living" and "human robotics".
