Innovative Bicycle Concepts:
The IBDC (International Bicycle Design Competition)
The IBDC has been hosted by the Cycling & Health Tech Industry R&C Center (CHC), Taiwan, every year since 1997. Designers with an affinity for bikes from around the world are invited to take part and enter their visionary ideas and concepts focusing on the topic of bicycles and cycling in the competition. What makes cycling even safer, more comfortable, more challenging and more enjoyable? Innovative manufacturing processes, new materials or thought-provoking impulses for urban planners are also welcome. A panel of experts will decide on which entries receive the label and how the impressive prize money will be distributed.
