The iF ranking is based on the iF awards received in the last three competitions. The results of the iF material award 2010 have now been included.

The ranking is divided into the iF ranking company - ranking manufacturers and clients - the iF ranking creative - ranking designers, architects, agencies and design studios and the iF ranking university - universities

Ranking points are generated through successful participation in the iF awards.

Extraordinary products are created by using extraordinary materials and processes. The iF material award recognizes such future-oriented solutions in the three categories 'material', 'product' and 'process'. The winners of an iF material award or an iF gold award can expect worldwide recognition of their outstanding success. Manufacturers, designers, developers, engineers and architects are invited to participate in the iF material award.

Our international competition for young designers gives students and young professionals a chance to demonstrate their superior design skills to a worldwide audience. The award includes a wide range of design areas from architecture, fashion- and industrial design to engineering. Participation is free and a total of EUR 30,000 will be shared among the very best entries.

As in 2008 and 2009, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and iF will again host the successful COMPUTEX TAIPEI design & innovation awards. From November 2009 onwards, interested exhibitors at COMPUTEXT TAIPEI 2010 and all IT companies registered in Taiwan can register for the sought-after award.

The OutDoor INDUSTRY AWARD is more than just a trophy. Designers, manufacturers, retailers and customers value it as a seal of quality. It recognizes innovative products and materials, ranging from accessories to mountaineering equipment. The best products receive a GOLD award.
