This product is a transmitting broadcast server that stores program data on internal flash memory – in contrast to competing products which use hard drives as storage media. This design choice allows faster reading/writing of large volumes of data and of multiple channels than devices that rely on hard drives – thereby reducing editing time. These characteristics are especially useful when editing real-time high-definition programs.
