Shakerscope is a kinetically powered multifunctional medical device for developing countries, emergency relief and rescue situations. It allows medical examinations and procedures to be undertaken without the need for batteries or power supplies allowing essential care to be administered to people who traditionally may not have received the level of care demanded. Its immediate available for use, irrespective of shelf life and its rugged design ensure its functionality in difficult, demanding environments. A number of interchangeable heads can be used with the device allowing a range of essential examinations to be undertaken.
