iF Design

As an award winner, you will be invited to the iF design awards night, which will take place on 22 February 2013 at BMW World in Munich. At the iF design awards night, we will announce the iF gold award winners and present them with this special honor in front of a large audience: the who’s who of the international design, media, business and politics sectors. Share your experiences with other creatives and meet potential clients, project owners and interesting discussion partners. Talk to communicators, make new and rewarding contacts and extend your business.

All award-winning entries from one year will be presented - either live or as multi-media installations - at the iF design exhibition Hannover, which will run in parallel to CeBIT at the Hanover exhibition center. CeBIT is well known for drawing a large international crowd of decision makers. With this linking of the iF design exhibition to CeBIT - both in terms of space and time - we can guarantee you the maximum attention by those target groups that are of crucial importance to you as potential clients and project owners.

We will present all award-winning entries from all three iF design awards 2013 in an interactive exhibition which will last for several months. With the new Hamburg Harbor City, the design capital of Hamburg offers a new, superb location for the iF design exhibition Hamburg: a hub for everything new, young and trend-focused. Harbor City is a magnet for the media and design industries and for everyone interested in design and architecture.

As an iF award winner you will benefit from being presented internationally, from reaching new target groups and accessing new markets. We will show all award-winning entries from one year in a multi-media exhibition in Haikou / Hainan island (China) that will last for several months. Hainan is one of the most attractive locations in China for both tourists and businesses alike - with a lively, young and up-and-coming feel.

All award-winning entries will also be shown in the iF design exhibition in Hangzhou that will last for several months. The exhibits will be presented in a multi-media format on 500 square meters of floor space.

All award winners are represented in the iF online exhibition, which has been presented in a new design since February 2012. The iF online exhibition is accessible via the iF website. With over 3.5 million page views from more than 100 countries the iF website ranks among the most popular design platforms on the Internet. The iF online exhibition is an archive of excellent achievements in design, offering comprehensive research tools to explore the design of the last six decades.

Furthermore, the iF online exhibition offers a wide range of new functions: as an iF award winner, you will have your own profile page where you can present yourself and your work, including images, descriptions, videos and logos. You can tell your individual iF success story in a visual time travel narrative from your current work to earlier entries. You can also link your profile page to external pages to include it into your own communications and PR.

All iF design award winners are included in the iF ranking. The iF ranking is based on all iF design awards from the last three years. It will be updated once a year for the iF design awards night. 20 points are given to both creatives (iF ranking creative) and manufacturers, project owners or companies (iF ranking company) for an iF design award and 100 points for an iF gold award. Hence the iF ranking mirrors both your successful participation in an iF design award and your design excellence as an iF design award winner - an objective assessment that can be used as an ideal advertising and PR tool.

Optional: you can also book a 2/1 page at an additional cost of EUR 400.00. We can also commission the translation of your description at a fee of EUR 50.00.

Before, during and after the iF design awards the comprehensive PR work of iF ensures that our iF design award winners will receive a great deal of attention in the national and international press. There will be reports about the outstanding level of the award-winning entries in business and lifestyle magazines, in the specialized design press, in daily and weekly newspapers, as well as in radio and TV programs.
