The iF packaging award focuses on packaging, packaging graphics, packaging materials and packaging machines of all kinds.

The first iF packaging award was presented in 2008 with great success. The theme of packaging has become tremendously important, especially as regards economic and ecological questions.

The next iF packaging award, judged by an international jury, will be presented at interpack PROCESSES AND PACKAGING 2011 in Duesseldorf, Germany. Use this excellent platform to submit your extraordinary and innovative packaging designs. For 2010, packaging design will represent an independent category of the iF communication design award.

Packaging has long become much more than just a protective cover for contents. It also serves as a communication element for advertising and information purposes and for creating awareness of economic and ecological issues.
