iF Design

The iF communication design award has established itself among the leading national and international design competitions. The ceremony for the iF gold awards, which are given to the 30 best entries in the competition, takes places annually in the Fall. The iF communication design award yearbook documents all award winners of a competition and provides an exciting insight into the world of successful design. Furthermore, as a reference book, it is a window onto current levels of outstanding achievements in design.
All agencies and their clients, companies, designers, architects and interior designers are invited to participate.

The iF communication design award not only signifies outstanding achievements in design, but also provides the winners with points in the iF ranking as well as in the national rankings of PAGE and w&v Werben und Verkaufen.

An internationally renowned jury evaluated all entries in a lively session on May 14 and 15 and has now selected the winners. In the iF communication design award 2009, 377 contributions out of a total of 1,368 from 24 countries received an award.

The 30 best contributions will receive an iF gold award. The winners of the gold awards will be announced at the awards ceremony, which will be held on August 28 at BMW Welt Munich. The iF communication design award yearbook 2009 will also be published on this day. All award winners of the iF communication design award will additionally be presented in the iF online exhibition.
